Borehamwood VegFest Celebration Event 2023

On Wednesday 12th July 2023, schools taking part in Borehamwood VegFest attended the VegFest Celebration Event at Meryfield Primary School. Everyone was able to show off all of the amazing fruits and vegetables that they had harvested, as well as all of the stories and artwork they had produced.

The pupils involved enjoyed an afternoon of games, including giant connect 4, giant jenga, and wellie wangling, and activities, including plant pot decorating, bug hunting, and making fruit kebabs.

Congratulations to all of the pupils that have been involved in gardening clubs, as well as to all the teachers and volunteers who have ensured everything has run smoothly. Everyone should be extremely proud of themselves and their achievements. Keep up the great work!
